Tidy Number Strategy

WALT: we are learning to use the 'making tens/tidy
number' Strategy

1.8 + 7 = 15

  8 + 2 = 10

  +5 = 15

2.9 + 6 = 15

  9 + 1 = 10

  +5 = 15

I found this quite easy to understand because it was just like my number bonds post.

How do you do your number strategies?

Number bonds

WALT: We are learning number bonds to 10,20,50 and 100

     To 10

1.8 + 2 = 10

  9 + 1 = 10

   To 20

2. 19 + 1 = 20

   18 +2 = 20

   To 50

3. 49 + 1 = 50

   46 + 4 = 50

    To 100

4. 97 + 3 = 100

   91 + 9 = 100

5. A number bond is when 2 numbers make a tidy number.

I thought that writing all of my math questions was

hard because I had to write the same thing twice.
